Favn is the place to stay within easy reach of activities for the whole family, both summer and winter. In winter, the pistes are right on your doorstep – with family-friendly slopes and magic carpet lifts for the very young. In summer, you have direct access to Hafjell’s new pump track and downhill biking.

Favn - a view only a mountain can offer
The holiday apartments, most of which are west-facing, are in an elevated and airy location at 800-835 metres above sea level.
Hafjell is renowned for its wide range of activities, with high-quality alpine runs and endless cross-country ski trails into the mountains. During the summer season, the area offers an abundance of hiking and cycling routes and spectacular nature adventures. In the local community, there are cultural events and the opportunity to enjoy delicious local food.

Hafjell er kjent for sitt aktivitetstilbud, med alpinbakker i særklasse og endeløst med skiløyper innover i fjellene. I sommerhalvåret byr området på mange tur- og sykkelløyper og fantastiske naturopplevelser. I lokalmiljøet kan du delta på kulturelle arrangementer og ikke minst nyte fortreffelig kortreist mat.

FAVN ski & bike rental
Guests staying at Favn can get pre-ordered ski equipment delivered directly to the ski lockers belonging to the apartments.The ski rental has its own department at Favn with a small ski shop. Here it is possible to exchange or upgrade equipment, or hand in skis for prep.
In summer, you can hire downhill bikes, trail bikes, both electric and regular, as well as children's bikes. We also lend out free children's bikes to the pump track.
Restaurant Favn
Favn restaurant is arranged as a unique meeting point. Both during the day and in the evening, you can enjoy a tasty lunch with family and friends, or eat a good dinner in the evening.
Favn restaurant offers flavors from all over the world, made with local ingredients. In Favn bar there will be a lunch service and après-ski/afterbike with snacks, wine, cocktails and a feel-good atmosphere with good music. The Favn room can accommodate up to 16 people and can be used for large and small events.
FAVN Café
Right next to Favn restaurant os Favn café. Here you can sit down for a cup of coffee, hot chocolate for the children and the freshly baked goods. A small and pleasant place that is a popular addition to the whole area of Favn.
Café Favn will have breakfast and lunch service. The menu includes sweet pastries, panini, soup and hot drinks. In the afternoon, Café Favn has snacks, beer, wine and simple drinks.

Favn Fitness room
On the first floor of Favn B you will find the Favn fitness room. The fitness room has been specially designed by Aksel Lund Svindal with equipment from American Barbell and Spirit, as well as free weights, kettlebells, treadmills, mats, etc. Access to the fitness room is only for our guests staying at Favn or in Favn Chalet.
Favn meeting room

Favn Apartments
The apartment complex consists of 58 apartments over four floors with lift access. The apartments are mainly from approx. 62-88 sqm with 2 to 5 bedrooms. One of the signature elements of the apartment garden are the characteristic window shapes that provide beautiful light, a great view and a unique sense of space.
Several of the apartments will have balconies where the nice days can be enjoyed, and other apartments will have "sit-in windows", which are wide window sills where you can sit comfortably and enjoy the view - almost like being outside. Some of the front/top apartments will have a loft solution with a TV lounge and two extra bedrooms. These apartments will be approx. 117 m2.
Favn Chalèt
Favn Chalèt is a collection of luxurious apartments of approx. 80 m2 with a very high standard. The apartments are in separate buildings in contrast to the Favn apartment complex. They also have their unique characteristics, as these are rented by different owners. The apartment has 3-4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Well-equipped kitchen, warm and cozy living room with a view of the Gondoltoppen.
Slip right into the winter magic with a short distance to everything.
The mountain right outside your door
With Favn as a starting point, Øyerfjellet is easily accessible. Here you will find mountain roads and paths that are made for cycling, with gentle terrain and many stops. Several sætres that are open in the summer with both animals and an open café. Otherwise, there are plenty of idyllic bathing waters and fishing waters in the mountains.
In winter, you will also find the cross-country trail network that Hafjell and Øyerfjellet have to offer practically right outside the door. There is a total of approx. 500 km of groomed trails for both classical and skating, and there are connected cross-country trails all the way to Rondane in the north and the Birkebeiner track that goes to Rena in the south.
Perfect for families
Hafjell is known for its family areas, parks and activities. In total, there are four family areas and three terrain parks. It is not without reason that the slopes are a family favourite. The gondola top is full of fun activities for the children, whether it's the children's slope with its own carpet lift for the little ones or you have older children who want to ride boxes and rails in our Backyard park.
Several days a week throughout the winter, lots of exciting things happen for the children at Gondoltoppen, whether it's the Junior Ski Patrol, Isa's diamond hunt, or you want to challenge each other to the Audi Ski Run? We have cool slalom slope with a timer located on the Gondoltoppen.
Ski in & out
From Favn, you have all possibilities within reach. You are right in the heart of the ski resort and from here you can continue to the top in our 6-seater chair lift that takes you to 1056 m above sea level on Hafjelltoppen, or further down to the Olympic slopes and family areas at the bottom. The entire ski resort faces the sun and has good snow conditions from mid-November to mid-April.
In total, Hafjell offers 50 km of alpine slopes and is today Norway's 3rd largest ski resort - and still developing! Parking space included in all apartments.
