World Cup Hafjell

For the first time in many years, Norway once again has the honor of hosting the men's slalom and giant slalom – and of course, it's happening in Hafjell. We're talking about the world's best alpine skiers, thrilling runs, and an incredible atmosphere from start to finish. The World Cup Square will be filled with delicious food, cold drinks, and live music during breaks and après-ski. On Saturday, some lifts will start operating at 08:00 – perfect for those who want to get in a few turns before the race begins.

Saturday, March 15

08:00 - 16:30: Lifts operating in Hafjell. (Moseterheisen runs until 18:00)

08:00: Arena opens

08:30 - 16:00: VIP Club Gold

09:30: 1st round Giant Slalom

Between 1st and 2nd round: Entertainment area in the arena with NEED Music

12:30: 2nd round Giant Slalom

Immediately after the 2nd round: Medal ceremony at the finish area

Sunday, March 16

08:00: Arena opens

08:30 - 15:00: VIP Club Gold

08:30 - 15:00: VIP Club Blue

09:00 - 16:30: Lifts operating in Hafjell. (Hafjell Lift 1 starts at 08:00)

09:30: 1st round Slalom

Between 1st and 2nd round: Entertainment area in the arena with NEED Music feat. Blåsemafian and the local culture school

12:30: 2nd round Slalom

Immediately after the 2nd round: Medal ceremony

 Practical Information

Tickets and Entry

🎟️ A ticket is required for entry to all spectator areas in the finish area and along the course. Buy your ticket here!
🪑 The grandstand with 850 seats is sold out on Saturday, but there are still available tickets for the arena. On Sunday, there is availability in both areas. 
🚪 Entry is via Skitorget or the top of the tunnel (at the junction of slopes 47 and 41). Note: To enter the arena from the mountain, you must use slope 23 Lett Nedfart.
🎿 Ski storage is available at the entrance to the arena, or you can book a ski locker for secure storage of your ski equipment in the gondola basement. Book a ski locker!

Parking and Transport

⛷️ Hitting the slopes? Hafjell Alpine Center guests can use the regular parking areas as long as there is space.
🏡 Guests in Sørlia can take a bus from 11:00 AM–5:00 PM, departing from the south end of the parking lot. Pick-up is south of Hafjell Pizza at Skivei 82.
🇳🇴 World Cup guests arriving by car must park at Hunderfossen, with shuttle buses running approximately every 3 minutes.
🚌 We recommend everyone to travel to Hafjell by public transport. Check bus schedules at entur.no or see the Hafjell bus timetable (free for all lift pass holders).

Lifts

🚡 On Saturday, the Gondola, Hafjell Lift 1, Hafjell Lift 2, and Fjellheisen will start operating at 08:00. - Perfect for getting in a few turns before the races begin. (Note: Skogsheisen will be closed all weekend).
⛰️ Moseterheisen will run until 18:00, making it easy for you to get home after the event.
⛪️ On Sunday, lifts will operate as usual, with Hafjell Lift 1 starting at 08:00.

Slopes

Most of Hafjell is open as usual, but there will be some impact on the national arena and adjacent slopes.

❌ Slope 47 from the junction with slope 23
❌ Slope 60 from the junction with slope 24

Accessibility

🧑‍🦽 Wheelchair-accessible spaces are available.
🍼 Strollers are not recommended – use a child carrier for easier mobility.

We expect a large number of spectators – buy your ticket in advance for faster entry.
